Design System: A unified system designed to ensure the visual and functional consistency of the application.
Objective: Simplify development, accelerate design, and ensure a consistent experience across mobile and desktop.
Approach: Modular grids, a consistent color palette, reusable components, and clear documentation for product and tech teams.
My role: Design and structuring of the design system, creation of Figma components, definition of accessibility rules, and support for teams in its adoption.
Approach: Analysis of user and team needs to define the essential components.
Methods:
. Audit of existing interfaces to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
. Benchmark of reference design systems (Material, Carbon, etc.).
. Collaborative workshops with designers and developers to define the nomenclature and structure.
Key axes: Accessibility (RGAA/WCAG), modularity, scalability, and cross-platform consistency.
